Trauma-Sensitive Yoga

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga

Trauma-Sensitive Yoga: David offers an individualized approach to regaining a healthy connection to the client’s body using his training from the Trauma Center of Brookline, Massachusetts, Yoga program, headed by David Emerson, author of Trauma Recovery Through Yoga.  Clinical research by the Trauma Center and Dr. Bessell van der Kolk, M.D., the world’s leading expert on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, shows healing for brain/body through brain scans of trauma survivors who practice Trauma-sensitive Yoga. These clinical studies are also showing personal feelings of increased empowerment and renewal of a sense of connectedness to the feeling body.
